Hood applicator and shrink owen
The Actipac Hood applicator IP forms and applies pallet hoods from folded foil tubes on rolls of PE-film. This machine is custom designed for the pallet size but can also be fitted with twin foil magazines for various load sizes. There is an option for automatic height measurement to achieve the correct hood length for each load.

Working method
The vertical sleeve wrapper works with vertically placed film rolls, mounted in roll brackets, one at each side of the pallet conveyor. Shrink film from both the rolls are co-sealed across the conveyor and forms a film curtain just in front of the sealing station of the machine.
A pallet load is placed on the conveyor, well centered, and transported towards the vertically placed film curtain. The film measuring device is affected when the curtain is strained, the roll brake looses and the film feeding starts. The film is swept around the pallet when it passes the sealing station and stops directly after the same. The sealing jaws meet behind the pallet, make a double seal and cut off between the sealings. In this way the film curtain for the next-coming pallet is prepared, the film measuring devices strain the film and brake the rolls.
Foil dispenser and Applicator FDP
The Actipac Foil Dispenser and Applicator FDP is a machine for application of a foil sheet on no-return pallets, which are used in the paper industry when stacking paper sheets on pallets.
